INFANT AND CHILD CARE SUBSIDY CALCULATOR
There are two available subsidies -
Basic Subsidy and Additional Subsidy.

You will qualify for Basic Subsidy, if:

- Your child is a Singapore Citizen
- Your child is enrolled in an ECDA-licensed infant care/ child care centre in Singapore
You are a mother working at least 56 hours a month
- Basic Subsidy for Infant Care: $600
- Basic Subsidy for Child Care: $300
You are a mother working less than 56 hours a month
- Basic Subsidy for Infant Care: $150
- Basic Subsidy for Child Care: $150
Note: Basic Subsidy amounts stated above are for full day programmes only. Amount will differ for other programme types.
You will qualify for Additional Subsidy, if:
- You are a mother working at least 56 hours a month
- Your child is a Singapore Citizen
- Your child is enrolled in an ECDA-licensed infant care/ child care centre in Singapore
- The total gross monthly income (including bonuses, commissions, overtime pay, allowances and before CPF deduction) earned by you and your spouse is $12,000 and below.

- Flexible care ranges from 12 to 24 hours per week or 36 to 48 hours per week for each child

Note:
1. If you are a salaried employee receiving CPF contributions, your average monthly income is based on the contributions submitted by your employer for the preceding 12 month period which include bonuses, commissions, overtime pay and allowances.
2. If you are self-employed, your monthly income is based on the income derived from the last available Net Trade Income assessed by IRAS. Net Trade Income is available through the Notice of Assessment. You can login to myTax Portal at mytax.iras.gov.sg to view your Notice of Assessment.
3. For calculation based on Per Capita Income (PCI), the Gross Monthly Household Income should include the income(s) of child’s parents and family member(s). Family members must be related by blood, marriage and/or legal adoption and have the same address stated in their NRIC as the applicant (i.e. mother or single parent).
